This section spotlights the art of expressing oneself spirituality through dance. Let me introduce to you Jezibell Anat.
In New York City, Jezibell was High Priestess of the Pagan Way Grove, Kyklos ton Asterion Coven, and Siren's Sanctuary Women's Circle. A member of the Ordo Templi Orientis, she also worked with the Minoan Sisterhood, New Moon New York, Four Winds Earth Chorus, and New York City Pagan Pride. She has facilitated many public and private rituals, including Sabbats, full and dark moons, and women's circles. She is also a writer, dancer, actress, and drummer, and has created Goddess-inspired belly dances and mythologically-themed ritual theatre. Her articles and poetry have been published in Our Pagan Times, The Beltane Papers, Sagewoman and Circle Magazine.
Now residing in Augusta, Georgia, she is the co-local coordinator for Augusta Pagan Pride and facilitates the Full Moon Vespers at the Unitarian Universalist Church . She is Director of Eastern Star Dance Theatre, and also works with Le Chat Noir and Misfit Theatre Group. She will be presenting a spoken word performance “Voices of the Goddess” for Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival this year.
